When learning a new language, it is completely normal to try translating from one’s native language into the target one.
Sometimes the translation works, and sometimes it doesn’t. However, most of the time, these translation problems can actually become an advantage in the learning process because they can be turned into powerful lessons.
This is the case of an Italian expression explained in a vertical short-format video, created to be shared on social media.
The mistake comes from the fact that the same expression also exists in English, but with two words in the opposite order.
With some interactive elements and smooth transitions, the translation problem is clearly explained.
